Cinci

I'm Just a Baby and well- Please help me. It hurts so bad!

S.P.A. received an emergency call
late this afternoon
from a middle school art teacher, Ms. Dennings.

She had just found this little kitten
lying under her car crying loudly.

The little kitty came right to Ms. Dennings when she called to her and she immediately noticed that the kitten was bleeding and limping badly. Then she saw the huge, bleeding gash. She appeared to have been run over by a car.

Ms. Dennings called Paw Patch Veterinary Clinic in Clyde, Ohio and Dr. Rosario said to bring the kitten in right away for an emergency visit.

The kitten sat patiently on Ms. Dennings lap on their way to Paw Patch Vet Clinic even though she must have been in severe pain. Dr. Rosario said the wounds didn't look fresh so who knows how long this poor little girl was wandering around severely injured and in pain! Thank goodness Ms. Dennings took the time to pick her up and contact the vet's office.

She is guessed to be 12 weeks old, and is a BEAUTIFUL, dilute torti. The picture doesn't do this little girl kitty justice... but keep in mind this is after a very long day of injury, travel, unfamiliar people, pain medication and stitches.

Dr. Rosario said that her back leg is broken and must be repaired ASAP with a pin. The laceration actually wraps all the way around her leg in a spiral. Vetting bills are estimated to be around $500.

Paw Patch requires a down payment, as do most veterinary offices, and Ms. Dennings said with all of her pets and children of her own she doesn't have $500 to pay for this stray kitten's surgery.

So you guessed it, how could S.P.A. say no?

The problem is S.P.A. is low on funds right now because I haven't felt well enough to do any real fundraising. It has been four months since my surgery, but I was having pleurisy attacks until 2 1/2 weeks ago. Hey, I don't want anyone to get out their violin, I don't want sympathy. But facts are facts, and until I can arrange a few fundraisers I am forced to ask if you can help pay the vet bill for this little kitty.

Donations can be made online at:
www.spaohio.org.
Please designate that the donation is for Cinci's medical expenses.
That is what she's been named.

Or, you can mail a donation to:

Thanks in advance for any amount of donation that you send. Every little bit will help and is greatly appreciated. We simply couldn't allow this little girl to suffer and not receive the help she needed.

Should you have additional questions, please call 419-334-2773 or 419-463-8474.

Special Blessings your Way,
