RESCUED-NOW NEED HELP

(Original post)

A wealthy guy in town paid the pound to come and pick up three of his older dogs (WHAT A JACK *** THING TO DO). I am angry about this. Gunner and Buddy LOVE people. They are very friendly dogs. They are purebred labs that this wealthy man never bothered to have neutered. He owns a big warehouse and they lived there.
Gunner and Buddy WILL BE EUTHANIZED TOMORROW...
The oldest dog, Lucky, a 13 year old chocolate lab, was rescued and is now safe in SPA's care. Special thanks to Julia from Tennessee who sponsored Lucky.

THEY NEED TO BE RESCUED TODAY!

***************************************

Deborah Parker of Saint Francis Animal Sanctuary picked up Gunner and Buddy this morning from Sandusky County Dog Pound.

When I heard she was going to save Buddy and Gunner's life I broke down and cried... I couldn't talk. And for those of you who know me I am rarely speechless... but I was.

She really doesn't have room for two more dogs nor extra money lying around to pay for vetting of two more dogs... but she connected to them and couldn't allow them to die. She saved them in the LITERAL nick of time.

Deborah Parker is a dedicated and responsible rescuer. She called me from her cell phone and said it is obvious that Buddy has had a stroke. I am sure the pressure of being dumped at the pound a few weeks ago when he had no idea what was going on has taken a real toll on him.

Deborah will have to pay for shots, neuters, and heartworm tests out of Saint Francis Animal Sanctuary's money.

If there is anyone out there who could send even $10 towards Buddy and Gunner's care it would help Deborah immensely. She made room for these dogs once the photos of their faces on the action alert imprinted on her heart.

Please help her help Buddy and Gunner. They need the works. The Rotten guy who had them didn't obtain vet care for them and she is going to try to help Buddy with symptoms from the stroke he had.
