No Name

Last night I came home about 10:45 p.m. from a work related meeting. I thought there was a deer in the middle of the road so I slowed down. WELL it was not a deer. It was a dumped Walker Hound. His right front leg/foot is injured (the paw is hot to the touch) and he is emaciated. No doubt will be heartworm positive, they all are. His nails are long, he smell like no other dog I have ever found or rescued. I will not be able to keep him here unless I receive donations for care. My husband and I just spent $6500.00 for another rescue dog that was injured and we are now BROKE. We received one donation of $25.00 for Barney.

We are not in any position to help this guy, if we do not get support. If I do not get help, I will be forced to take him to the pound where he undoubtedly will be killed. He will be a “DEAD DOG WALKING” AT THE LOCAL SHELTER. All the rescues are slammed full, this I know because I have been trying to find a place for the other hounds that were discarded that are here. This will bring it up to 11 dogs WE CAN’T HANDLE THIS MANY DOGS WITHOUT SOME HELP. I do not want help for the other dogs, just this guy, who has no name.

It is abundantly clear that he has been neglected his entire life. I would like an opportunity to show him that he can be well fed, loved and brought to health, but I will not be able to do this without your assistance. $5.00, $10.00 or anything that one can afford would be greatly, greatly appreciated. I know that everyone is tight on money right now. I am living that so I do understand very well.

Won’t you please help me get this poor guy vetted?

My paypal account is sylvasylva59@embarqmail.com please indicate if you would like a receipt for your donation(s). I cannot even take him to the vet before I gather enough funds for a vet visit.

Thank you.
